Albert Corhan
Albert C. Corhan, Sr. - Operations Leader, Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn
An award-winning professional and long-standing staff member of Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn, Albert C. Corhan, currently serves as director of operations at the college preparatory day school. Albert Corhan is responsible for fundraising, event planning, alumni relations, communications, and facility operations.
Mr. Corhan began working at the Academy in 2000. However, he was a student at the institution’s Upper School College Preparatory Program before attending St. John’s University. Throughout his professional service, he received numerous awards, including the Russell E. Bonanno Dedication to the Adelphi Spirit Award in 2016 and the Shel Silverstein - Put Something in the World That Ain’t Been There Before Award in 2017. Furthermore, he received a special service award for his 10th, 15th, and 20th years of service to Adelphi.
Aside from his dedication to his work at Adelphi, Mr. Corhan has served the Brooklyn community in numerous ways. In 2018, he was recognized by the South West Brooklyn Parks Task Force for his volunteer work as a Producer of the annual Bay Ridge Haunted Halloween Walk. Furthermore, he supports St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the ASPCA, the Wounded Warrior Project, and Shriners Hospitals for Children, among others.
